Yes—on-site tours can be arranged by appointment. Please note that the venue cannot be reserved without a first visit in person.
How long does a venue tour take?
A tour typically lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours. This gives you time to discuss your plans in detail with our team and get a clear sense of how your wedding day could unfold at the venue.
Can we schedule remote meetings (via video call or phone)?
Yes. We can arrange a phone call or video call in advance. However, confirming the booking is subject to an on-site visit.
What wedding dates are available?
Weddings are hosted on selected dates throughout the year. Please contact our team so we can confirm availability and help you find the dates that best match your plans.
Is the venue available on weekdays and weekends?
Yes. Morimont hosts weddings on weekdays as well as weekends, subject to the venue’s schedule and availability.
Do you offer a date-hold option so we can reserve a date before making a final decision?
Yes. After your first on-site visit, you can place a temporary hold on your preferred date.

What wedding packages does Le Morimont offer?
Le Morimont offers exclusive venue hire for three days and two nights, including accommodation, breakfasts, a brunch, and floral décor for up to 47 guests. Additional services are available as optional add-ons.

Capacity & Spaces
Is the Morimont venue exclusively reserved for our wedding?
Yes—Morimont is exclusively reserved for your wedding from Friday to Sunday, with no other events taking place on-site during that time.
How many guests can Morimont accommodate for the dinner and evening reception?
The barn can accommodate 80 to 180 seated guests, depending on your chosen layout.
Which ceremony spaces are available at Le Morimont?
All areas of Le Morimont can be used to suit your plans. The Allée des Seigneurs is especially popular for ceremonies, but the terrace, courtyard, and the Vaulted Room (La Voûte) are also available.
Can we adapt the use of the venue’s spaces based on the weather and season?
Yes — you’re free to use the spaces as you wish, depending on the season, the weather, and your plans, to create a smooth and comfortable flow for your day.
Is there a covered backup option for key moments of the day?
Yes. The Vault offers a sheltered, intimate space—ideal if the weather is unpredictable or for quieter moments during your day.
Are the Morimont Castle ruins part of the estate?
No. The castle ruins located 350 m from Le Hameau are not part of Morimont’s property, but you’re welcome to walk around them for photos or a stroll.
Do you offer backup options in case of cold weather or rain?
Yes. Additional heaters can be added, and the large courtyard canopy provides shelter for your guests in case of rain.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes—our main spaces are accessible. Our team can accommodate specific needs and will support you during your visit to help anticipate and plan the logistics in advance.
Accommodation
How many guest rooms are available on-site?
Le Morimont offers 18 rooms accommodating up to 47 guests (excluding baby cots).
Can we add overnight stays before or after the wedding?
Yes—depending on availability, you can add extra overnight stays before or after the wedding to extend your time on-site.
Do the newlyweds have to pay for all guest accommodations?
No. The couple is free to decide which rooms are included and which rooms are paid for directly by the guests.
Can accommodation costs help reduce the overall wedding budget?
Yes. Any accommodation fees paid directly by your guests are automatically deducted from the total invoice.
Can guests book their hotel rooms directly with the hotel?
No. Guests don’t need to book through the hotel—couples assign rooms to their guests directly.
Are children and babies allowed at Le Morimont?
Yes — the venue welcomes adults, children, and babies. Four baby cots are available on request, and you’re welcome to bring additional ones if needed.
Are breakfast meals included for guests staying on-site?
Yes. Breakfast and brunch are included for the 47 guests staying on site.
Is camping available on-site?
Yes. A camping area can be set up right next to the barn, and campervans can park in the on-site parking lot.
Can guests stay in nearby accommodations?
Yes—several hotels and B&Bs are located near Le Morimont.
How are rooms allocated at Le Morimont hotel?
Couples can assign rooms to their guests using a dedicated app developed by the Morimont team.
Catering at Morimont
What type of cuisine does Le Morimont offer?
A warm, family-style cuisine made with organic ingredients, served as shared buffets and platters designed for convivial dining at large tables.
Is your catering based on locally sourced ingredients?
Yes. Our catering focuses on locally sourced, organic ingredients from a network of trusted partner farmers and producers. On-site, the Églantines-etc farm provides jams, herbal teas, fresh herbs, and part of the fresh fruit and vegetables.
Can we host more than 47 guests for the meal?
Yes. We can offer breakfast and brunch add-ons for guests who are not staying on site.
Are vegetarian or other special dietary options available?
Yes. Our menus can be adapted to accommodate dietary requirements (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies). We also encourage plant-forward options and can offer less meat-focused menus on request.
Can we choose an alternative dessert instead of a wedding cake?
Yes. You can choose a dessert buffet or a cheese buffet, for example.
Can we bring our own wine or alcohol?
Yes—you’re welcome to bring your own wine or spirits, subject to the conditions outlined in your quote.
Décor & Flowers
Is floral décor included in the venue rental?
Yes—flowers and floral arrangements are provided by Eglantines etc., our on-site flower farm.
Where do the flowers you use come from?
Our flowers are grown on-site, seasonal, and certified organic.
Are the floral arrangements and flower compositions customizable?
Yes. We’ll define the style of the floral arrangements with you in advance, so they match your preferences.
Can the couple bring their own decorations?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring additional décor, as long as it aligns with our environmental guidelines and the venue’s style and spirit.
Vendors
Can we bring our own vendors (DJ, photographer, etc.)?
Yes. You’re free to choose your own vendors, provided they comply with the venue’s guidelines and on-site requirements.
Can the venue recommend trusted vendors?
Yes. Our team can recommend trusted partners and handle the coordination if you choose the Morimont planning option.
Coordination
Do you offer planning support for our wedding?
Yes. If you choose our planning option, the Morimont team will support you and coordinate all key stages of your wedding.
Is this support mandatory?
No. Planning support is available for couples who would like it, to ensure the weekend runs smoothly and stays consistent with your overall vision.
Is there a designated preparation time before the wedding?
Yes. If you choose our planning/coordination package, we organize an on-site preparation weekend several months before the wedding.
Practical arrangements
What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 4:00 pm, and check-out is by 12:00 pm. Most guests arrive on Friday afternoon and depart on Sunday during the day. We can adjust these times depending on your schedule.
Can we store our equipment and supplies on-site before the wedding?
Yes. Early access is available during the week before your wedding so you can drop off equipment and supplies.
When can we access the venue to start setup?
The barn is available from Friday morning before your wedding for setup.
Until what time can we stay at Le Morimont after the wedding?
Room check-out is at 12:00 pm (noon) on Sunday. After check-out, you’re welcome to stay and enjoy the venue for the rest of the day.
Is cleaning included in the package?
Yes—barn cleaning is included in the rental package. However, couples are responsible for tidying up and sorting/disposal of waste.
Environmental commitment
Does the venue require compliance with an environmental policy?
Yes. Morimont is committed to eco-friendly weddings and asks all couples and guests to follow its sustainability charter.
Is waste sorting mandatory at Le Morimont?
Yes—separate waste sorting (recycling) is mandatory throughout the event.
Are balloons, sky lanterns, or fireworks allowed at Le Morimont?
No. Anything that could drift away or pollute the venue or surrounding areas is not allowed. We can suggest eco-friendly alternatives.
What happens to any leftover food?
Any leftover food is shared with guests and/or donated to local charities.
Contract & Terms and Conditions
How do payment and invoicing work?
To confirm your booking, a deposit is required. A second deposit is due at the beginning of the year, and the remaining balance must be paid before the event.
Are prices and service packages guaranteed from one year to the next?
No. Our terms and conditions may change from year to year.
What happens if the couple cancels their wedding?
In the event of cancellation by the couple, any deposits paid are non-refundable.
What happens if we postpone our wedding until the following year?
Our postponement terms depend on how far in advance you let us know. If you notify us before November of the previous year, your deposit may be transferred to the new date.
What happens if the venue cancels?
If Morimont cancels your booking, all amounts paid will be refunded in full.
Facilities & Technical Equipment
What equipment is included in the barn?
The barn is equipped with a professional sound and lighting system, a bar, a catering area, restrooms, and a Studiobooth.
Is Wi‑Fi available on site?
Yes, Wi‑Fi is available on site. For music playback, we recommend that your DJ plan offline options as a backup.
Can we use a video projector or a microphone?
Yes. Optional audiovisual equipment can be provided upon request, depending on your needs.
Is electricity included in the venue rental?
Yes — all the electricity needed for your event is included.
Is a photo booth included in the wedding package?
Yes—an on-site Studio Booth with printed photo strips is included for the evening reception.
Can we download and keep the photobooth photos?
Yes—every photo is available to view and download via an online gallery.
