Capacity & Spaces

Yes—Morimont is exclusively reserved for your wedding from Friday to Sunday, with no other events taking place on-site during that time.

The barn can accommodate 80 to 180 seated guests, depending on your chosen layout.

All areas of Le Morimont can be used to suit your plans. The Allée des Seigneurs is especially popular for ceremonies, but the terrace, courtyard, and the Vaulted Room (La Voûte) are also available.

Yes — you’re free to use the spaces as you wish, depending on the season, the weather, and your plans, to create a smooth and comfortable flow for your day.

Yes. The Vault offers a sheltered, intimate space—ideal if the weather is unpredictable or for quieter moments during your day.

No. The castle ruins located 350 m from Le Hameau are not part of Morimont’s property, but you’re welcome to walk around them for photos or a stroll.

Yes. Additional heaters can be added, and the large courtyard canopy provides shelter for your guests in case of rain.

Yes—our main spaces are accessible. Our team can accommodate specific needs and will support you during your visit to help anticipate and plan the logistics in advance.

Le Morimont offers 18 rooms accommodating up to 47 guests (excluding baby cots).

Yes—depending on availability, you can add extra overnight stays before or after the wedding to extend your time on-site.

No. The couple is free to decide which rooms are included and which rooms are paid for directly by the guests.

Yes. Any accommodation fees paid directly by your guests are automatically deducted from the total invoice.

No. Guests don’t need to book through the hotel—couples assign rooms to their guests directly.

Yes — the venue welcomes adults, children, and babies. Four baby cots are available on request, and you’re welcome to bring additional ones if needed.

Yes. Breakfast and brunch are included for the 47 guests staying on site.

Yes. A camping area can be set up right next to the barn, and campervans can park in the on-site parking lot.

Yes. Our catering focuses on locally sourced, organic ingredients from a network of trusted partner farmers and producers. On-site, the Églantines-etc farm provides jams, herbal teas, fresh herbs, and part of the fresh fruit and vegetables.

Yes. We can offer breakfast and brunch add-ons for guests who are not staying on site.

Yes. Our menus can be adapted to accommodate dietary requirements (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies). We also encourage plant-forward options and can offer less meat-focused menus on request.

Yes. If you choose our planning option, the Morimont team will support you and coordinate all key stages of your wedding.

No. Planning support is available for couples who would like it, to ensure the weekend runs smoothly and stays consistent with your overall vision.

Yes. If you choose our planning/coordination package, we organize an on-site preparation weekend several months before the wedding.

Practical arrangements

Check-in is from 4:00 pm, and check-out is by 12:00 pm. Most guests arrive on Friday afternoon and depart on Sunday during the day. We can adjust these times depending on your schedule.

Yes. Early access is available during the week before your wedding so you can drop off equipment and supplies.

The barn is available from Friday morning before your wedding for setup.

Room check-out is at 12:00 pm (noon) on Sunday. After check-out, you’re welcome to stay and enjoy the venue for the rest of the day.

Yes—barn cleaning is included in the rental package. However, couples are responsible for tidying up and sorting/disposal of waste.

Environmental commitment

Yes. Morimont is committed to eco-friendly weddings and asks all couples and guests to follow its sustainability charter.

Yes—separate waste sorting (recycling) is mandatory throughout the event.

No. Anything that could drift away or pollute the venue or surrounding areas is not allowed. We can suggest eco-friendly alternatives.

Any leftover food is shared with guests and/or donated to local charities.

Contract & Terms and Conditions

To confirm your booking, a deposit is required. A second deposit is due at the beginning of the year, and the remaining balance must be paid before the event.

No. Our terms and conditions may change from year to year.

In the event of cancellation by the couple, any deposits paid are non-refundable.

Our postponement terms depend on how far in advance you let us know. If you notify us before November of the previous year, your deposit may be transferred to the new date.

If Morimont cancels your booking, all amounts paid will be refunded in full.

Facilities & Technical Equipment

The barn is equipped with a professional sound and lighting system, a bar, a catering area, restrooms, and a Studiobooth.

Yes, Wi‑Fi is available on site. For music playback, we recommend that your DJ plan offline options as a backup.

Yes. Optional audiovisual equipment can be provided upon request, depending on your needs.

Yes — all the electricity needed for your event is included.

Yes—an on-site Studio Booth with printed photo strips is included for the evening reception.
